Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 10 oz. oven ready lasagne noodles
- 3 cups cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced thin
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat and onion slowly; spoon off excess fat. Add salt, tomatoes, tomato paste and 1 cup water. Simmer covered 15 minutes; stir often. Layer half the noodles in ungreased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Add half the cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
