Ingredients

  • 6 cups thinly sliced cucumbers
  • 2 thinly sliced onion
  • 1 1/2 cups white vinegar
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried mustard
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 cloves of garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Place 3 cups of cucumbers in glass bowl, top with 1 cup of onion. Repeat. Combine vinegar and remaining ingredients in a saucepan and stir well. Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute. Pour over cucumbers and let cool. Cover and chill for at least 4 days. May ber kept for 1 month.
