BUTTERSCOTCH OAT SQUARE (no eggs)

  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. rolled oats.

Preparation

Step 1

375 F oven.

Combine brown sugar, baking powder and rolled oats. Add butter and vanilla. Spread thinly in 2 ungreased 8 x 8 pans.

Bake 8 - 10 minutes.

Let stand 5 minutes and cut ingo squares while warm.
