Ingredients

  • DRY MIX
  • 3 1/2 Cups Flour (all purpose)
  • 6 TBSP. Sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Sea Salt.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together above ingredients and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
  • TO MAKE (ABOUT 6 FOUR INCH PANCAKES)
  • 1 1/2 Cup Dry Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 3 TBSP Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, water, eggs, butter and vanilla.

2. Add the dry pancake mix to the buttermilk mixture and gently whisk until combined. Don't try to make the batter smooth; small lumps are ok.

3. Let batter sit for 3 to 5 minutes before cooking.

4. Heat griddle on medium high, melt 2 TBSP butter on pan. Add 1/2 Cup of batter for each pancake. Lift one end of pancake to check for doneness, then flip once NEVER PUSH PANCAKE DOWN WITH SPATULA!!
