May’s Hawaii Hawaiian Style Pork Adobo Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 packets May's Hawaii Hawaiian Style Pork Adobo
  • 1 cup Small Onion (Diced)
  • 1/2 cup Diced Celery (Diced)
  • 12 cups Bread Stuffing Mix
  • 2 cups Poultry Stock (Chicken or Turkey)
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Salted
  • 1 tablespoon Thyme (Dry Chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Sage (Dry Chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (Ground)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°. Spread bread stuffing mix in two shallow baking pans and bake in upper and lower thirds of oven, switching positions halfway through until golden, 25-30 min. total. Cool bread in pan on racks and then transfer to a large bowl

Heat butter in a large, heavy skillet over moderate heat. Place onions, celery, thyme, sage, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally until vegetables are softened, 5-10 min. Add 2 – 12oz packages May’s Pork Adobo, shred and add to pan. Heat, stirring occasionally to mix. Stir pork adobo mixture into bowl with bread cubes.Drizzle with stock, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer mixture to a buttered 3 quart shallow baking dish. Bake covered in middle of oven for 30 min., then uncover and bake until browned, about 20 min. more.
