pounds green beans trimmed
cayenne peppers (⅛ teaspoon in each jar)
cloves of garlic
heads of dill
tsp. ground pepper (¼ teaspoon in each jar)
cup of salt
Pack beans in hot jar leaving 1/4 inch head space. To each pint add 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper, 1 clove of garlic and 1 head of dill. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Pour boiling hot over beans leaving 1/4 inch head space. Let stand for 2 -4 weeks to allow flavor to develop. Makes about 4 pints.
