Ingredients
- 1 whole white fish
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- Seasoning Sauce
- 1 tbsp. rice wine
- 1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. chicken broth
- 6 tbsp. water
- Tomato Sauce
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 small tomato, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup diced mushrooms
- 1/4 diced carrot
- 1/4 thawed frozen peas
Preparation
Step 1
Clean fish and pat dry. Score on each side.
Sprinkle with salt and let stand 10 minutes. Pat dry.
Pat cornstarch on both sides of fish.
Deep fry on both sides.
Combine seasoning sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside
Stir fry onion in oil over medium heat for 1 minute.
Add tomato, mushrooms, carrot, and peas and stir fry 2 minutes.
Add seasoning sauce and stir fry until sauce thickens.
Pour over fish.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
