Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-cup very ripe bananas (about 3), mashed
  • 1 ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
Add mashed bananas and blend.
Stir dry ingredients together, then add to banana mixture, stirring only to moisten.

Bake 1 hour or until done.
