Ingredients

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg Nabisco's Famous chocolate wafers (9 oz)
  • 9 graham crackers
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Coast a 9x13 baking pan with nonstick spray. Line bottom of pan with parchment paper, then coast paper with nonstick spray. For the crust, heat butter in a large saucepan over low until it melts, 2 minutes. Add sugar and salt and stir to dissolve; remove from heat. Pulse chocolate wafers in a food processor until fine crumbs (remove any big chunks); transfer to a bowl. Pulse graham crackers until fine crumbs. Add graham cracker crumbs to wafer crumbs; stir to combine. Pour crumb mixture into butter mixture; stir to thoroughly combine. Press crumb crust into bottom of prepared pan. For the bars, layer crust with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut and almonds, spreading ingredients evenly. Pour sweetened condensed milk over the top layer. Bake bars until nuts and coconut are lightly toasted, 35-40 minutes; remove from oven. Let bars cool in pan on a rack, 45 minutes, then refrigerate at least 2 hours. Place cutting board over pan and invert. Tap bottom of pan to release crust; peel off parchment paper and cut into 32 bars.
