Ingredients
- Chicken breasts cut into pieces
- 3 3 3 medium onions chopped
- 3 3 3 tomatoes
- 1 1 1 piece of ginger
- Green Chile or dry red chilies
Preparation
Step 1
1. Grind onions [half portions] along with ginger into a paste.
2. Fry the remaining onions in hot oil [2 pounds] until golden brown.
3. Add to tomatoes cut into wedges, pinch of salt, turmeric and cover.
4. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. When the tomatoes become tender add the ground paste and fry for five minutes more.
5. Add washed chicken pieces, cover and cook until meat is tender.
6. Serve with rice and sweet chutney.
