Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter
• 1 1/2 C. boiling water
• 1 C. quick cook oatmeal
• 1 C. brown sugar
• 1 C. granulated sugar
• 2 unbeaten eggs
• 1 1/2 C, flour
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp nutmeg, cinnamon,and vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

pour boiling water over oatmeal and butter. stand for 20 mins. Add sugars and eggs. mix. sift dry ingredients. add to ingredients and mix. add vanilla and mix well. pour into an ungreased 10x13x2 in. pan.
bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 mins.
