Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs (about 19)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 to 3 tlb. butter or margarine melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 6 1/2 cup (12 ounces) min - marshmellows
- 1/4 cup green creme de menthe
- 2 tlb white creme de caco
- 3 cup whipping cream whipped
Preparation
Step 1
FOR CRUST:
- Combine chocolate wafer crumbs, sugar and melted butter, press mixture into bottom and sides of 9 in pie plate.
- Chill
FOR FILLING:
- Combine milk and marshmallows in top of double boiler.
- Heat and stir over HOT, NOT BOILING water till marshmallows are melted.
- Remove from heat; cool, stirring every 5 min.
- Combine liqueurs; add to marsh mixture, blend well.
- Fold marsh. mixture into whipped cream.
- Chill till mixture mounds
- Fill cooled crust; freeze firm, 6 hours or overnight.
- Trim with additional whipped cream and fresh strawberries, if desired.
