Southern Banana Pudding

  • 1 pkg (4 serving size) vanilla pudding
  • 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 1/2 cup milk
  • 25 vanilla wafers
  • 2 large bananas sliced

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine pudding mix, egg yolks, and milk in saucepan.

2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixutre comes to full boil.

3. Remove from heat.

4. Arrange layer of wafers on bottom and sides of a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish.

5. Add a layer of banana slices and of pudding.

6. Continue layering wafers, banana and pudding, ending with pudding.

7. Top with meringue.
