Monte Cristo Sandwich

Ingredients

• Batter:
• 1 oz white turkey meat
• 1 oz slice jack cheese
• 1 oz slice ham
• 2 sliced white bread
• 1 1/4 cup cake flour
• 4 Tbsp rice flour
• 1 Tbsp baking powder
• 1 1/3 cup water
• 1 egg yolk, beaten
• 1 egg white, stiff

Preparation

Step 1

Make sandwich with whte turnkey meat, cheese and ham. Cut in 1/4, use tooth picks to hold it. Roll in egg batter and fry until golden brown. Remove tooth picks and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with raspberry jelly.

Batter:
sift flour, rice flour, and baking powder together. Add 1/2 of water, beaten yolk and add flour mixture mixing from center of bowl. Stir in rest of water. fold in egg white
