"Fran LaMalva gave me this recipe; the original copy had an error in it and to correct my first, batch, I had to double all ingredients (except for the one in error). We had buckets of cookies, and I thought they would last forever. Theydidn't. The family loves these."

Ingredients

  • Cookies
  • 1 pound confectioners sugar
  • 2.5 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1.5 cups chopped walnuts
  • Glaze
  • 1 bag (12 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 1/4 block of paraffin (can use 1 TB shortening instead)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all cooky ingredients in a large bowl. Form into walnut sized balls. Melt chocolate and paraffin together in double boiler. Dip cookies into chocolate mixture and place on wax paper to cool. These freeze well.
