  • 1/2 cup dutch-processed cocoa
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups red & green milk chocolates M&M
  • 1/3 cup white baking chips
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking soda and salt. In a 1-qt. glass far, layer the flour mixture, cocoa, sugar, brown sugar. M&M's and baking chips. Cover and store in a cool dry place for up to 1 month.

To prepare cookies:
In a large bowl, beat the butter,eggs and vanilla until well blended. Add contents of jar and beat just until combined. Drop by rounded tablespoons 2 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets; flatten slightly with a glass. Bake at 350' for 9-11 minutes or until set. Remove to wire racks to cool. Store in an airtight container.
