Broccoli-Corn Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz. can cream-style corn
  • 1 10 oz. package frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup coarse Saltine crackers (12 crackers)
  • 1 tbs. minced onion
  • 2 tbs. melted buuter or margerine
  • 1/2 tap salt
  • 1 dash of pepper
  • 1/4 cup coarse Saltine crackers crumbs (6 crackers)
  • 1 tbs. butter or margarine melted

Preparation

Step 1

Combine corn, broccoli, egg, the 1/2 cup cracker crumbs, the onion, the two lbs. melted butter, salt and pepper. Turn into 1 quart casserole. Combine 1/4 cup cracker crumbs and the remaining butter and sprinkle over vegetable mix. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
