Pretzel Strawberry Dessert
Pretzel crust layered with strawberry jello and cream cheese
- 1 bag of pretzels, crushed
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 3 T. sugar
- 6 oz. package strawberry jello
- 3 10 oz. packages frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 1 c. sugar
Oven at 400 degrees.
Combine crushed pretzels, melted margarine and 3 T. sugar and mix well. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool.
While crust is baking, dissolve jello in boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries and let stand until set.
Combine cream cheese, Cool Whip and sugar. Spread onto cooled crust. Top with jello mixture. Chill until ready to serve.
