Ingredients

  • 1 container (12 oz.) refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits
  • 80 mini pepperoni slices
  • 8 - 10 pickled jalapeno slices, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. dried basil, crushed
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzerella
  • Shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 400. Coat 20 standard nonstick muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

2. Split each biscuit in half, creating 20 rounds. Place in prepared muffin cups. Press 4 mini pepperoni slices into center of each round. Sprinkle evenly with jalapenos, if desired, and basil. Spread pizza sauce evenly into rounds. Sprinkle evenly with mozzeralla cheese.

3. Bake 8 to 9 minutes or until golden on bottom. Remove from oven. Sprinkle evenly with parmesan cheese, if desired. Remove from muffin cups after 1 to 2 minutes to prevent sticking. Serve warm.
