Ingredients
- 1 envelope yeast
- 7 tablespoons water, lukewarm
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 shallots, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 ounces feta cheese
- 6 black olives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
1. Sprinkle yeast over water. Let stand 5 mins.
2. Mix flour-salt. Add yeast. Turn onto floured surface. Knead 5 mins. Dough will be sticky. Place in sprayed bowl, let rise 1 hour.
3. Punch down. Flour hands and form into ball. Press out into 10" circle on sprayed pan. Cover and let rise ~30 mins.
4. Toss shallots and garlic with oil. Add feta-pepper.
5. Heat oven to 425.
6. Make dimples in dough with fingertips. Cover with topping and bake 15-20 mins.
Notes: Excellent and very easy to make. Have varied toppings
