Honey Nut Spread

This spreadable snack tastes great on fruit and whole grain crackers and is as delicious as it is simple.

Ingredients
- 1/3 c. reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel) (about 3 oz) softened
- 1 Tblsp. honey
- 1 Tblsp chopped walnuts
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon or cardamom
- 2 Tblsp snipped dried figs, dates, or dried apricots
- Low-fat milk (optional)
- Graham Cracker squares, apple slices, or pear slices.
Preparation
Step 1
Om a small bowl stir together the cream cheese, honey, walnuts, and cinnmaon; stir in dried fruit.
If necessary, stir in 2-3 teaspoons milk to make desired spreading consistency. Serve with graham crackers or fruit.
