Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
- 1/4 cup toasted chopped hazelnuts
- 5 chopped, pitted dates
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 4 Rome apples
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- Heavy whipping cream, whipped, for serving

Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix oatmeal, hazelnuts, syrup, nutmeg, and salt.
2. Use melon baller to make a cavity 3-quarters deep in each apple and pack with filling.
3. Place apples in baking dish, pour apple juice around them, cover with foil, and bake at 375 dF until tender, 40-70 minutes. Top with a tsp. of heavy whipping cream.
