C. Peanut Butter
C. Chopped Pecans (optional)
Place Cocoa and Sugar in medium pan, stir them together until well blended. Add Milk and Salt. Cook and stir over low heat until Sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Cover and continue cooking 3 minutes. Remove cover and cook without stirring until a little of the mixture forms a soft ball in cold water, or (to a temperature of 234 degrees on a candy thermometer). Add Vanilla, Butter plus Peanut Butter and (Pecans, if you wish). Cool to lukewarm (110 degrees). Beat until mixture just begins to thicken and looses its gloss. Stir in nuts and pour into the lightly greased pan. Cool, cut, and enjoy!
