  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbs. ground nutmeg
  • 1 Tbs. ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/3 C. ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 3/4 C. milk

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix baking powder, flour, spices, vanilla, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, place butter and sugar.

Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add eggs one at a time while mixing. Add can of pumpkin. Beat until well-mixed. While beating, add flour mixture along with milk. Beat until well-mixed. Pour batter into pan.

Bake for 50 minutes.
