Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2-3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, whisk the butter, eggs, milk and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened; set aside. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients.
2. Spread half of batter into a greased 13x9in baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Carefully spread the remaining batter over top; sprinkle batter with the remaining topping.
3. Bake at 375F for 25-30 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm.
