- 1 1/2 C water
- 3/4 C raisins
- 3 T rum
- 3/4 C rice
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 5 C half-n-half

Step 1
bring rice and salt to boil in water. cover and cook for 9 minutes. stir in 4 cups of half-n-half and sugar. keep stirring uncovered 25 minutes on low heat. beat egg. stir into rice for 1 more minute. take off heat. add vanilla, rum, 1 cup half-n-half and raisins
