Crockpot Chicken & Gravy

365 Days of Crockpot ~ I have never liked chicken in a Crockpot. Something about the taste......Until now! This is really good!!! Thumbs up from everyone! This only needs 4 or 5 hours, so start it in the afternoon. I started mine at 2:30 & we ate by 7:00. I'm sure you could bake it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes, checking every 5 minutes after.

Ingredients

  • 6 - 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Preparation

Step 1

Spray Crockpot with olive oil spray. Place chicken thighs in bottom of slow cooker. Season with pepper. Sprinkle onion soup mix on top. Spoon the Cream of Mushroom soup over the top of the chicken. (You could probably mix the 2 soups together then pour it over the chicken.) Cover & cook on LOW for about 4 - 5 hours. I cooked mine 4.5 hours & it was perfect. Leave the chicken in tact or shred it. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
