Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 oz) package velvet cheese, cubed
  • 4 oz Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chives, minced, optional
  • 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried sage
  • Crackers, garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350º. Lightly grease a square baking dish or skillet with Pam.

In a large bowl, combine sour cream and softened cream cheese, and stir in Worcestershire sauce, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder and sage until well incorporated.

Fold in sausage, Velveeta, Jack cheese and chives until mixed thoroughly, then transfer to the baking dish.

Place in oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until molten, bubbly and golden brown.

Remove from oven and serve hot with crackers or sliced baguettes.
