Ingredients
- 1 piece ginger root, 2", chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup nonfat yogurt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 boned and skinned chicken breast, cut up
- 3 onions, halved and slivered
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 limes, halved
Preparation
Step 1
1. Puree ginger, garlic, 2 tb lemon, 1/4 cup yogurt. Mix with rest of yogurt, oil, chili powder, 1 tsp salt.
2. Add chicken. Marinate at room temp 1 hour.
3. Toss onion with 2 tb lemon juice, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp salt, cumin, turmeric. Broil 10 mins.
4. Shake. Broil 5 mins. Cook chicken in skillet. Serve over onion. Top with lime.
