Waffle Iron Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 1/2 c shortening
• 2 eggs
• 2 oz chocolate or 3 Tbsp cocoa
• 1/2 c milk
• 1 1/2 c flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 c nuts
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs and beat.

Add melted chocolate and milk; dry ingredients.

Add vanilla and nuts.

Put about 3 Tbsp batter on waffle iron and bake.

Put a small collop for turtle cookies.
