New England Flank Grill Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb flank steak
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Ground pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine maple syrup, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and pepper in bowl. Marinate steak in refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.

2. Remove steak from marinade; strain marinade and pour into a saucepan and place over low heat. meanwhile heat bbq to med-high heat, place steak on bbq and cook 5 mins. per side.

3. Cut steak into thin slices against grain. Serve with heated marinade.
