Chocolate Sour Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • Icing:
  • 4 oz unsweet chocolate
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/2 c oil
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c hot (strong) coffee
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c canned milk
  • 1 c sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Line 2 8" cake pans with parchment paper. Melt chocolate. Sift dry ingredients together. In another bowl, mix coffee, sour cream and oil. Add coffee mixture to dry ingredients, blend well. Add eggs, mix on med speed, add chocolate. Fill cake pans with mixture. Bake 35 minutes at 345.

Icing:
Blend ingredients in blender. Add melted chocolate, blend 1 1/2 minute.
