Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 C Butter
  • 1/2 C sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 1/4 C flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3/4 C finely chopped nuts (I use pecans)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream together Butter, Sugar & vanilla.

Mix creamed mixture and dry ingredients together...adding nuts last.

Mix well and chill dough.

Roll dough into small balls.

Bake in preheated 400 oven 10-12 minutes.

While still warm roll in powdered sugar
