Pork Chops and Dressing

  • 6 lean pork chops
  • 1 loaf of white bread, toasted
  • 1/2 c onion
  • 1 8-oz can mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 3/4 c water
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil



Step 1

Flour pork chops.

Place vegetable oil in electric fry pan and brown pork chops on both sides.

Drain oil from pan.

In large bowl, crumble bread.

Add onion, soup, seasoning and water and mix thoroughly.

Spread dressing over chops.

Add 1/2 c water to cover bottom of pan.

Cover and place temperature setting on simmer for one hour.
