Ingredients
- 2 pds boneless beef round steak cut 1 inch thick
- salt and pepper
- 1 14.5 oz can Mexican or Italian style stewed tomatoes undrained
- 1/2 of 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1/2 t bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1 16oz pkg frozen peppers and onions stir fry vegetables
- 4 c hot cooked whole wheat pasta
- or serve w brown rice

Preparation
Step 1
trim fat from meat and cut into six serving size portions-sprinkle with salt and pepper-place in slow cooker
in med bowl combine tomatoes, tomato paste and hot pepper sauce
pour over meat in cooker
top with frozen vegetables
cover and cook on low for 9 to 10 hours
serve over hot cooked pasta or rice
