Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. crushed dried thyme
- 5 tbsp. cold unsalted butter, cut in thin slices
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup whole-kernel corn
- 1/3 cup plus 5 tsp. salted sunflower seeds, divided

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 400. Line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and thyme in large bowl; stir well. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk; stir gently to form soft sticky dough. Stir in corn and 1/3 cup sunflower seeds. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls 1 1/2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp. sunflower seeds on each biscuit.
3. Bake 18 - 20 minutes or until golden. Transfer to wire rack to cool slightly. Serve hot or warm.
