Red River Rub

Recipe adapted from Grilling America. If you want to make this rub very hot, use hot paprika and up the amount of cayenne to 1 tablespoon

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • dash of ground nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well. Use immediately, or store in an airtight container. To use, sprinkle on whatever you wish to grill, and allow to dry-marinate for 4 hours or overnight
