Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
- 2 tbsp pecans or walnuts
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp melted butter
- Mix:
- 2 packages of cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 large egg yolks
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Preparation
Step 1
Use spring form pan.
Beat cream cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs. Then add lemon juice, vanilla, salt and sour cream just until blended DO NOT BEAT TOO LONG. Pour into prepared cake pan that is wrapped all around the outside with aluminum foil. Set cake pan in roasting pan with about 1" of hot water and place into 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Do not open oven and leave in there for another hour. After an hour take out of oven and cover and cool to room temp. Place in refrigerator over night. To unmold cake run knife around edges.
