Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger root, grated
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce

Preparation

Step 1

1. Saute garlic-onion in oil.

2. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer - covered - 20 mins.
