C: Aunt Hedy's Cresent Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 pound butter
• 2 cups sifted flour
• 2 cups chopped walnuts
• 5 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 tablespoon water
• 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and add sugar,vanilla and water. Sifted flour and salt together and stir into mixture.Add nuts and mix. Chill dough for 3 hours.Using portions about the size of a wal nut roll into cresent shaped cookies. Bake at 325 for about 20 minutes. While cookies are warm, roll in confections' sugar
