Sourdough Herb Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c Sourdough starter
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbs Melted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Celery Seed
  • 1/2 tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme Crumbled
  • 2-2 1/2 c Flour

Preparation

Step 1

Combine starter, sugar, salt, eff and butter. Mix in celery see, parsley, thyme and 1 cup of flour. Beat them together, then add rest of flour, Knead 5 mins. Place in a buttered bowl. Let rise until double in volume. Punch dough down, thenmake into balls for rolls. Let rise until doubled.

Bake in hot oven 400' for 15 minutes.
