Caramel brownies

Ingredients

  • Brownie Mix:
  • 1 box german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • Caramel mixture:
  • 1 bag caramel
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 container of your favorite chocolate frosting.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake mix, egg and butter. Scoop out 1 1/2 cups, break up and place in greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350.

Remove from oven and pour caramel mixture over partially cooked cake mix along with chopped pecans. Spread rest of cake mix over caramel and continue baking for 20 minutes. After you remove from oven frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
