Ingredients
- Salad:
- 1 large head of Nappa cabbage
- 5 green onions
- 2 packages of Ramen noodles
- 1/2 cup of sesame seeds
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup butter
- Dressing:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 1 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dressing and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
Shred cabbage and cut up green onions mix in large bowl.
Break up ramen noodles (toss out season packet) and add to pan with sesame seeds, almonds and butter. Constantly stir until lightly browned. Cool and store in air tight container.
Mix cabbage and noodle mixture just before serving to keep items crisp.
You can either mix in dressing or serve on the side.
