Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Instant ClearJel
- 6 Cups Sugar
- 6 Cups Strawberries, mashed
- 3 Packages (1 Cup) Sure-jell
- 2 1/4 Cups Water
Preparation
Step 1
Mix ClearJel with 1 cup sugar. Add rest of sugar to strawberries and set set 15 minutes. Mix Sure-Jell with 2 1/4 cups water and boil 1 minute. Pour over strawberries and stir well. Add ClearJel mixture and beat 3 minutes. Pour into containers and let stand 24 hours at room temperature before freezing. This recipe can also be used for peach jam.
