Ingredients

  • 1 3/4

    c flour

  • 1

    tsp baking soda

  • 3/4

    tsp salt

  • 1

    tbsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 1/2

    tsp ground ginger

  • 1

    tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/2

    tsp ground cloves

  • 2

    eggs

  • 8

    oz canned pumpkin

  • 1

    c sugar

  • 1/2

    c brown sugar, packed

  • 1 1/2

    tsp vanilla

  • 1/2

    c oil

  • 1/3

    c water

  • 2

    ripe bananas

  • Cinnamon filling:

  • 1/4

    c brown sugar

  • 1 1/2

    tsp cinnamon

  • Mix well & set aside.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350. Sift together the first 7 ingredients, blend well and set aside. Beat together the eggs, bananas & pumpkin until smooth. Add the sugars and beat well. Add the vanilla, oil & water. Slowly add the dry ingredients and beat til well mixed. Pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over the batter evenly. Pour the remaining batter over the top. Bake 1 hour (or until a toothpick comes out clean)
