Cinnamon Crescent Rolls (With Dates & Pecan Pralines)

Ingredients

  • FILLING:
  • 1 Pkg - 8 Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 Stick Unsalted Butter (Softened)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar (Packed)
  • Dates
  • Pecan Pralines
  • ICING:
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (Melted)
  • 1/4 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.

Lay out the Crescent Rolls for spreading Filling.

Chop up dates & pecan pralines (keep some for topping on Icing.

In one bowl - Mix all of filling except for the dates and pecan pralines. Use a spoon to mix.

Add dates and pecan pralines last.

Bake for 15 minutes.

In small bowl - Make Icing recipe.

Take out and let cool for about 5 minutes. As crescent rolls are still warm, spread Icing on them and then sprinkle with Pecan Praline pieces.

Put in container individually on parchment paper pieces so they won't stick.
