Hot Chocolate Cake with White Chocolate Sauce
- 7 oz S/R Wholemeal flour
- 1 oz Cocoa
- pinch salt
- 6 oz Soft margarine
- 6 oz Light brown sugar
- Vanilla essence
- 4 eggs
- 3 oz Chopped white chocolate
- 3 White chocolate
- 1/4 Pint single cream
- 30-40 ml Milk
Preheat oven 160C
Sift flour, cocoa, salt into bowl, add in wholewheat flakes from the sieve.
Cream marg, sugar and vanilla essence, then beat in one egg.
Gradually stir in remaining eggs one at a time, alternatively with flour mixture, until all is blended.
Stir in white chocolate and put into tin (7" cake tin or 1.1/2lb loaf) Bake for 30-40 mins.
Prepare sauce by heating choc and cream gently. Add milk, stir until cold.
