Ginger Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in pork loin chops (3/4-inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Dash ground ginger or 3/4 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot
  • 1 tablespoon sliced green onion

Preparation

Step 1

Broil pork chops 3-4 inches from the heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine cornstarch and soy sauce until smooth. Stir in the honey, garlic and ginger. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Drizzle over the pork chops. Sprinkle with green onion.
