Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 6 cups diced rhubarb
- 1 3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
Step 1
Cut in shortening, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar as for pie crust. Add egg and milk, mix and spread in bottom of pan, then rhubarb; sprinkle gelatin powder over rhubarb.
Mix 6 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup flour until crumbly; spread on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
