Roasted Brussels Sprouts

  • pounds Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and yellow leaves removed, halved if large

  • 3

    tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 4

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 1

    tsp kosher salt

  • ½

    tsp table grind or freshly ground black pepper


1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2.Place trimmed Brussels sprouts, olive oil,garlic, kosher salt, and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Seal tightly, and shake to coat. Pour onto a rimmed baking sheet, and place on center oven rack. 3.Roast in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, shaking pan every 10 minutes or so for even browning. Brussels sprouts should be darkest brown, almost black, when done. 4.Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
